Sundarrajan Bhyravan, Regional Logistics Manager, Asia AMET Logistics Excellence Team, Unilever
Sundarrajan has 11 years' experience in Supply Chain – Distribution Logistics, Regional Sourcing and Supply Chain Finance .
He is currently, responsible for developing Distribution & 3PL strategy for Unilever Asia AMET (Africa Middle East Turkey) region, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Previously he worked as National Logistics Manager – Foods, Unilever in India.
Sundarrajan holds an Engineer & Masters in Business Administration and is a "Certified Supply Chain Professional".
Mark Millar, Vice President, Supply Chain Asia
Based in Hong Kong, Mark is Vice President, Supply Chain Asia an independent community organisation for supply chain professionals.
Previously based in Shanghai, Mark has extensive experience in mainland China, including executive positions at Exel Contract Logistics, ModusLink and Platinum Logistix. A regular commentator on China industry issues, his contributions have been featured in several publications, including his paper entitled "China Supply Chain Challenges" in the Standard Chartered book entitled "Global Perspectives: The World of Supply Chain Management & Logistics 2007 / 2008"

Tony Wong, Director of Asia Supply Chain, Global Sourcing and Office Products, APAC, Newell Rubbermaid Inc

Tony Wong is responsible for overall Supply Chain strategic planning, integration, design and development and deployment of total Asian logistics functions to the organization's sourcing and commercial divisions.
Before joining Newell Rubbermaid, Tony spent 5 years as Head of International Logistics of Tesco Stores Ltd. Prior to that Tony spent more than 10 years in the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, TradeLink Hong Kong, Customs & Excise Department. He has vast experience in EDI standardization, Supply Chain optimization and Logistics re-engineering.
Tony has a Business Administration degree and a degree in Logistics & Transportation. He also has a graduate diploma in e-Supply Chain Management. Tony has been an advisor for the HKPC logistics program as well as other Supply Chain program. He is the founding board member of the Supply Chain Council (Greater China Chapter), Vice President of the Institute of Supply Management Hong Kong, as well as a member of the Shippers Council.
Joe Gallick, Senior Vice President, Penske
Joseph Gallick serves as the Senior Vice President of Sales for Penske Logistics - a position he has held since 1999. He is responsible for strategic direction and business development of a $2.8 billion international business spanning North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
Gallick joined Penske in 1988 as Area Sales Manager for the Metro New York Region of Penske Truck Leasing. In 1996 he was named Vice President of National Accounts and had responsibility for major account business development in the United States and Canada. Prior to joining Penske, Gallick served as Sales Manager of the New York Region at Gelco Truck Leasing for ten years.
Gallick is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and is a corporate sponsor liaison to the University of Tennessee College of Business Administration and the Penn State Center for Supply Chain Research.
John Urban, President, GT Nexus
John Urban has over 20 years of experience in executive management, operations and sales with global transportation and technology companies. Prior to joining GT Nexus in 1998, Mr. Urban was an executive with American President Lines, Ltd. (APL), one of the world's largest ocean liner companies and part of the $4.7 billion NOL Group. He held several executive positions with the company in Asia, North and South America. Before APL, Mr. Urban was President of NPSC, a domestic intermodal carrier. Prior to that Mr. Urban was vice president of Sales and Marketing for BRAE Corp., a provider of transportation equipment financing, leasing and management. Mr. Urban began his professional career as an Account Executive for IBM in its large systems group, following his graduation from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University, where he earned an MBA. He received his Bachelor of Science in economics from St. Bonaventure University, Olean, NY.
Christopher Logan, Agility's Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer
Christopher Logan, Agility's Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, drives the development and implementation of the enterprise strategy to achieve multi-billion dollar growth goals. He works with the organization to assess current and potential customer service needs, identify areas of capability gaps and design and execute breakthrough growth initiatives to fill those gaps. The driving force behind the global re-branding of Agility, he is also responsible for all global marketing efforts for the enterprise. He holds a graduate degree in business management from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario in London, Canada.
Mr. Will Zhang Will Zhang Vice President / MRD & MNC Leader, China, Capgemini
Mr. Will Zhang has over 13 years experiences in management and IT consulting for both MNC and SOE companies in China. His consulting experiences in logistics industry include helping a container shipper develop business strategy, operation model, and IT plan, helping a 3PL provider develop IT strategy and IT plan, help a 3PL provider design business process and develop IT system. He also provides SCM consulting services, including designing SCM planning model and implement APS system, helping set up regional distribution center, and etc. Will also helped Shanghai local government conduct an analysis on the logistics in Yangtze Delta Area.
Dr Jonathan Beard is Managing Director of GHK (Hong Kong) Ltd
Dr Jonathan Beard is Managing Director of GHK Ltd - part of the global GHK Group and a leading logistics and economic development consultancy. Port Authorities, terminal operators, potential investors and financial advisors regularly seek his opinion on logistics policy and development. He was lead author for the Hong Kong Port Master Plan 2020, the Shanghai Port Strategic Plan 2003, and Hong Kong Port Cargo Forecasts 06-07. He has recently finished assessing a major port investment on the West Coast of North America serving the Asia-Pacific trades and also a study for the European Commission providing advice on guidelines for state aid to ports. Other assignments include a financial review of Busan container port, an assessment of investment opportunities in Chinese terminals, bid support for the Karachi New Deepwater Port, and advice on the development and tendering for Qatar's new port. In addition to his work on sea ports, Jonathan has also worked extensively in the aviation sector and has been retained over a number of years by the Airport Authority Hong Kong – operator of the world's busiest international cargo airport - advising the Board and senior management on competitiveness strategies and master-planning. He is currently President of the Hong Kong Institute of Management Consultants, and holds a BA, MA and PhD from Cambridge University.
Antonio Sequeros, Vietnam Country Manager, Tractus Asia
Mr. Sequeros has more than 6 years experience in SE Asia including Vietnam, China and Hong Kong. He has a broad background in different fields such as trade and investment promotion, market research and consulting. His past experience includes working for the Hong Kong Government Investment promotion agency, Invest Hong Kong, where he successfully attracted a number of foreign investment projects and assisted companies in restructuring their Asian businesses through Hong Kong. He has also been involved in various consulting projects with Tractus in Shanghai, and has worked as a trade officer in the Spanish Economic and Trade Office in Vietnam where he was responsible for identifying business opportunities and analyzing key industry sectors. His most recent responsibility prior to rejoining Tractus was managing the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
Greg Knowler is the Publisher and Managing Editor of Cargonews Asia
Greg Knowler is the Publisher and Managing Editor of Cargonews Asia, the market leading fortnightly newspaper that tracks news in the busy shipping, airfreight and logistics sectors in Asia. He has been in journalism for 19 years and moved to Hong Kong from South Africa in 2000. After spending two years on the sports desk of the South China Morning Post, he left for Cargonews Asia to cover the far more exciting world of freight transport.
Larry Trebesch, General Manager, China, Savi Networks
Larry is responsible for leading Savi Network's business development, product development, government affairs, and expansion efforts in China. In this capacity, he leads the company in securing technology access and distribution partnerships with key supply chain stakeholders to enhance Savi's Wireless location and security network both in China and throughout the world. Savi Networks is a joint venture between the world's largest port operator, Hutchison Port Holdings, and the world's largest defense contractor, Lockheed Martin.
With close to two decades of international senior management and technology experience, Mr. Trebesch brings a multi-cultural and distinguished background in cross-functional management. In 1993, he headed the logistics operations of Maersk SeaLand's Mongolia unit based in Hong Kong and Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Later, in Silicon Valley, California he served as both product manager and manager of strategic business development at Excite@Home, at the time the world's largest Broadband Network service and content provider.
John Manners-Bell, Chief Executive Officer, Transport Intelligence
John started his working life as an operations manager in a freight forwarding and road haulage company based in the south of England. He has since fulfilled a number of operational, consulting and marketing roles within the logistics industry. Prior to establishing Transport Intelligence, he worked as an analyst in consultancies specialising in international trade, transport and logistics. He also spent a number of years as European marketing manager for UPS Supply Chain Solutions working at locations across Europe including France, Netherlands and Germany. He holds an MSc in Transport Planning and Management from University of Westminster and is an Associate of King's College London. He is a member of the UK Institute of Logistics and Transport and is an officer of the UK roundtable of the Council of Logistics Management.
Jürgen Rogner, V P, Business Development China, DB Mobility Networks Logistics
Jürgen Rogner is head of the Business Devolopment China unit. DB Schenker is the transportation and logistics division of Deutsche Bahn group. In 2007 DB Schenker achieved an annual revenue of almost 18 billion Euro with 88,000 employees at more than 2,000 locations in more than 130 countries.
DB Schenker Business Development China with offices in Beijing and Berlin drives the further expansion of the diverse company's business models in railfreight transportation and -logistics in China. The focus is on railfreight products but also on integrated automotive, chemical and steel logistic solutions. Jürgen Rogner looks back on more than ten years work experience in various senior management positions in the freight forwarding and logistics industry in different world regions.
Sunny Ho, Executive Director, Hong Kong Shippers' Council
Sunny Ho took over at the helm of the Shippers' Council secretariat in September 1999, following through on a 20-year career in shipping and maritime services. As he now shapes the thrust of the Shippers' Council mandate as the "voice" of the Hong Kong shippers, he counts on a vast experience on the aspects of trade and transport of goods to back him up. Prior to the Council, he was Deputy Managing Director of Swire Shipping Agencies and Taikoo Maritime Services Ltd, gaining experience in liner shipping, warehousing, container haulage, mid-stream operations, China feeders, transport and logistics services.
Peter Knapp, Vice President, Global Contract Logistics, APL Logistics
Peter Knapp was appointed Vice President of Global Contract Logistics for APL Logistics in August 2008.
He is responsible for expanding warehousing and related businesses such as distribution and transportation services globally.
Prior to joining APL Logistics, Mr Knapp spent 12 years with DHL Exel Supply Chain in a variety of senior roles across business development, account management and operations. Most recently, he was Vice President Business Development, Asia Pacific. Prior to that he was Vice President Business Development, FMCG, Global.
Originally from Germany, Mr Knapp's early career was focused on large-scale outsourcing and transportation network solutions.
